That was before I opened it and quickly discovered the previous reviewer must have asembled it wrong. There is a slit behind the velcro where the poles go. It comes with 4 poles, one for each corner. If you're not careful, you will place only the tip of the poles behind the velcro. This is incorrect and will not hold the hamper together. The slit behind the velcro is where the poles go. This allows the poles to be completely concealed. So, the rule is, if you can see the black poles, take them out and carefully stimulate the perforation. Hope this review helps.
