(More customer reviews)specs claim this is 12" high.the physical back panel is 12" but when you add on the hight of the bottom piece and extra fabric it does NOT fit in a 12.5" spot.if you have a a tight limitation on hight pls be aware.
otherwise i'm really happy with the quality.just can't put it where i orignally wanted to.
